Preparing for Plains Crossing 2024#

I'm making preparations for this mid-June motorcycle road trip; can't wait. I've enjoyed the backroads beauty of this route before but am looking forward to a replay. As someone once said (might have been me) it's good for the soul to roll through Ogallala at least once a year. I'll document the journey with daily posts of some choice photos -- new, handlebar-mounted mini camera to be put to the test.
The plan is for a 2-days ride each way, with some day trips within Minnesota and Wisconsin while visiting family and friends there. Hoping for mostly cooperative weather, but prepared for the worst.
