Chihuahuan Desert slot canyon gem#

This apparently nameless slot canyon is within the Robledo Mountains section of the Organ Mountain-Desert Peaks National Monument, with a non-descript trailhead a bit north of Radium Springs. It is roughly 1.5 miles out and back, with opportunties to climb to nearby high points after you emerge from the high end of the slot. I was taken by the coarse sedimentation the water had carved it from. It's an enchanting passage with many visual rewards for taking it slow.
